The USAN Operations PMO is looking for a Certified Scrum Master with the following skills and experience.

  • Full understanding of software development lifecycle best practices desired.
  • Knowledge and/or Experience with AWS, VoIP, AD and virtual environments a plus.
  • Demonstrated competency in strategic thinking and leadership with strong abilities in relationship management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project, MS Office and MS Visio. Prefer ServiceNow PPM experience.
  • Extremely determined to drive participation, to integrate people effectively into teams, to work cross-functionally and across multiple levels of management, and to work issues to successful resolution
  • BS/BA Degree or equivalent work experience

Experience:

  • 5yrs + Certified Scrum Master (CSM) experience in any well-known software environment delivering SaaS solutions to internal and external customers.
  • A solid technical background producing software or providing service required.
  • Technical experience including understanding and knowledge of network and/or application infrastructure required.
  • Experience in AWS, Telecom, ACD, IVR and Data Center Space desired.
  • Basic Project Management: Knowledge of project management principles and the ability to apply the principles, tools and techniques to develop/plan, manage or execute projects or work plans to ensure successful completion.

Position Overview:

The PMO Scrum Manager will lead the DevOps team and development partners with industry best-practice and internal customized software development life cycle process including the following:

  • Agile Scrum based Software development
  • Hybrid Agile/Waterfall based software development
  • Requirements Traceability
  • Source Code Control
  • Test case management and defect tracking
  • This position also defines the metrics to be used to track process improvement
  • This position also represents the team at Release level to report status of multiple Agile feature teams to leadership
  • The Scrum Master lead will be required to work within the USAN cross-functional and matrixed organizations which will provide demand from PMO, DevOps, Product Management, Marketing, Sales, Finance and Engineering
  • Manage Scrum teams towards Principles and Values of Agile Engineering and Scrum
  • Be in constant communication with team members via Slack and other communication channels
  • Schedule and manage daily scrum with PO and Dev Team
  • Work with the Product Owner to identify and prioritize PBI’s
  • Work with the Dev Team to schedule releases
  • Identify and eliminate distractions to the teams
  • Create and provide regular feedback loops
  • Facilitate and Practice USAN’s process across multiple teams
  • Manage success criteria and metrics for each team
  • Identify and Manage organizational success criteria to ensure expectations and needs are being met
  • Master the tools necessary for the process to continue to run smoothly including the coaching of teams or team members on those tools
  • Ensure the celebration of the wins
  • Maintain project documents, initiate, plan and execute projects, assign tasks, build schedules, risk analysis and status reporting in the USAN ServiceNow PPM System
  • Work with customer stakeholders and internal personnel responsible for specific functions or phases of assigned tasks, projects or programs to ensure a clear understanding of requirements.
  • Direct and oversee projects that require knowledge of IT and/or Network resources
  • Scrum adjunct and supporting systems implementations and internal data infrastructure
  • Ensure that the requirements written for IT and Network hardware and software development are robust, complete, and functionally comprehensive
  • Develop Use Cases and Business Models as necessary
  • Assist with the development of LOE’s, quote responses and RFP responses
  • Assess and manage risks and issues. Identify and resolve resource conflicts
  • Manage team and functional area conflicts
  • Communicate project status. Escalate project issues that cannot be resolved by PM Team
